Some fans of medical drama Grey's Anatomy were shocked by the events of the eighth season finale and the episode Flight. Now the affected character speaks up and tries to calm the fans.
After the episode "Flight", the finale of the eighth season of the ABC series "Grey's Anatomy," it is clear that two characters will no longer be part of the cast of the hospital drama. Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh), also known as the little Grey died Teddy Altman and Dr. the Serientod (Kim Raver) was developed by Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) is released to accept another job (Grey's Anatomy: It happened in the finals of the 8th Season).
Some fans might be surprised were mainly about the sudden death of Lexie Grey and probable cost savings hidden behind it, connected with the contract extensions of the remaining original cast members. Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson, Justin Chambers and James Pickens, Jr., have extended their contracts for two more seasons namely, what was announced shortly before the extension of the Ninth Season (Grey's Anatomy: ABC ordered 9th Season).
Lexie Leigh's character was introduced at the end of the third season of Grey's Anatomy and its role shortly thereafter expanded with the fourth season in a starring role. At the beginning of the current eighth season of the series Leigh paused because Shonda Rhimes has given her a long career break. She wanted to spend more time in the summer with her husband, Nathan West, and their three children, ages eight, five and three years.
By the way could Lexie and Teddy not remain the only ones figures, leave the the serial. Shonda Rhimes hinted recently that the premiere of the ninth season would encourage more victims (Grey's Anatomy: Possible spoilers for Season 9).
